About the Role:

Cisco’s Pricing and Strategy team is looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven Senior Analyst of Pricing Analytics to join their Bangalore office. As part of Cisco’s Product Organization, you will play a key role in shaping pricing decisions across Cisco’s hardware, software, and service offerings.

Your Role and Impact:

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in strategy, finance, product management, and sales to derive actionable insights that improve Cisco’s pricing models. You’ll work on complex financial and statistical models, evaluate product price elasticity, and provide data-driven recommendations that drive Cisco’s monetization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver pricing insights that influence strategy.
  • Build and manage financial models to assess pricing dynamics and customer willingness to pay.
  • Analyze transactional and competitive data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop pricing dashboards and reports using visualization tools to track performance.
  • Conduct market analyses and pricing trend studies to inform monetization strategies.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Continuously improve data processes and analytical methodologies for greater accuracy.

Key Technical Skills:

SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Data Analytics, Financial Modeling, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Management, Business Analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in pricing analytics, data analysis, or revenue management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets into strategic business insights.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, subscription-based, and consumption pricing models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in high-tech, software, or consulting industries is preferred.
